      Rex with ATL?

Somebody to square up the D and a new OC to keep Ryan going?

I can see how Blank would go for it.

      • Head Coaches are losing turf battles this offseason.

Eagles announce that VP of player personnel Tom Gamble is out, as @mortreport said a few minutes ago. That qualifies as a stunner.

Gamble was Kelly's guy brought over from the 49ers. Howie Roseman captures back the some power he lost last year when Kelly forced the team to dump DeSean Jackson.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I read that the Jags were interested in the ATL OC (Koetter?) if he was dumped by the new regime.

          • Doug Marrone of Buffalo opts out of his contract after 2 years.

Reports are that he had opt out due to change in ownership. Also, he is reported to be the favorite for the Jets job.

            • Feel bad for the Bills; nobody seems to even want to stay here. Lacking a QB to go along with that D
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

This all sounds healthy MT @LesBowen: My understanding is that Tom Gamble was escorted from Eagles building Tuesday evening.

Bears request to interview Ravens personnel ace Eric DeCosta was submitted Wed. He's declined many requests in past. expect that continues

This one might be about a future job opportunity.

Sean Peyton will have his job in New Orleans under the microscope next season

It goes without saying that the New York GIANTS Tom Cochrane and The Miami Dolphins Joe "Smiley" Philbin are already there as well:

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport details the coaching futures of Tom Coughlin and Joe Philbin as three games remain in the 2014 season. Are the two spending their final hours on their teams' sidelines?

                    • I think Sean Payton has had a roller coaster career. I don't know who the GM is there, but he's had a bad last few years.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

I'm sort of surprised Rob Ryan is still there. Maybe injuries saved both of their jobs.

I think it was a classic miscalculation: GM assumed he could replace losses of major players to free agency via signing free agents and draft picks. The trouble is it not only didn't work out but it destroyed the team chemistry. That's why TT must resign as many important Packer free agents as possible, most especially Cobb and Bulaga.
