Rodgers in his radio show today touched on this in reverse as well. Rookies doing well and discovering talents and contributions no one expected pushes vets and provides another source of inspiration and hope. He mentioned Starks in the 2010 playoff campaign. And he thought the same thing might be in effect with Ha-Ha, Adams and Linsley and the vets like Peppers.

You get both and it becomes a nice positive feedback system.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Agree that trap game, should it exist, requires something fearsome on the other side that distracts you and that isn't Buffalo.

You could argue that after clearing the hurdle that the Patriots represented, Atlanta represents a manhole on the landing spot.

And we always lose at Tampa Bay so that should be a game we are fully prepared for.

No.... It's prepare to win each game ..."one game at a time" and NOT looking further ahead than that weeks BIG game.

Putting any emphasis on this or that game being a trap game implies a lack of fan support for the real objective and that being a reality based faith.

Today I believe that the Green Bay Packers will win the next Super Bowl. I have faith in that outcome.

Woodie, Dan is not predicting nor endorsing a trap game. Or looking ahead.

He is saying that to call the Atlanta game a trap game is to misidentify what people mean by the term "trap game".

I'm posting now that there are zero...natta...NO trap games ahead in our schedule.

We have to see MM prepare the Packers for each and every week through Week 17.

We need to see the team execute for four straight added wins to our current win streak and have faith that all will be OK.

Thus even implying that there might be a Trap Game in the mix is irrelevant or moot.

We should win this game easily... even if they manage to get their offense going, and dunderdummy reverts to his retarded state, we still should be able to put up enough offense that this game should be well in hand by half time or shortly thereafter.

The game I'm worred about, other than Detroit, is @Buffalo. They have a very stout defense, and Buffalo is never anyones favorite place to play. Trap game.

That's what I was thinking too during and after the Patriots game - how bad the Packers were and how unfocused they were against a marginal team at home. This team is doomed - they just can't play well against good teams when it counts.

I see the Packers looking back at Buffalo and saying what was that train that ran over our O-line? And now we have to face good fronts at Tampa and against Detroit.

This is me too. I'm actually not that worried about Detroit but Buffalo will be a challenge. I'm even more worried about Tampa Bay than detroit just because that place is a house of horrors + you can always count on Lovie to call a good game against us.

Buffalo has a nice defense but their offense isn't. Tampa? Please. Just because we've had problems in the past doesn't mean we're gonna tank there. I get every stinkin' Tampa game down here and they are truly dreadful. If we don't screw up with penalties and turnovers we should win both of these games. Detroit could be a problem. They have a legit D and sooner or later they're gonna win a game in Wisconsin. That game worries me more than the others we still have to play.
