Buffalo run defense has been the tale of two seasons. First 6 games they gave up an average of 67.5 ypg. Last 7 games, 126.3 ypg. Lacy and Starks need to take some pressure off of Rodgers.

Yah. The Broncos spent most of the day running the ball last Sunday.

I just don't think Buf. can score enough points. 21 should win this one and as good as they are on D, I would be surprised, If they hold Rodgers and co. under 25. I'll say 27-17 and not really that close.....

            Yo, quit hatin'.

Matt Ryan is a very, very, extremely good QB. Would be elite with a Super Bowl win. Made 1 bad throw against the Packers: the pick to Burnett. Matty Ice is more accurate than Robin Hood in "Men In Tights." Ryan is a better leader of men than Churchill ever was.

Speaking in defense of the Packer's Defense, here is Mike Tanier: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...istics-told-me

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Does this mean Dom is playing his bench more in the 4th qtr? Or that his players are just letting up? Or that he is playing more "prevent" at the end of the game?
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Clear evidence that the Packers are not physical enough. It's a finesse defense, and after three quarters of football even the dimmest of offensive minds has figured Dom out.

Hard to say what precipitates it. I have a feeling that happens in blowouts, but I would need to go back and look at the drives. Its tempting because it reinforces my belief the D has improved. But it wouldn't be inconsistent to maintain that and still recognize the D has some holes.

Uh, you're getting a little nuanced there, PB. Just make a blanket statement about the defense and stick to it, no matter what happens.

In crafting his offensive gameplan, Pack coach Mike McCarthy better break down lots of tape, of the 1940 Chicago Bears. Because that's their gameplan on D. They are 7 across the front and are going to beat the shit out of you. When the final gun goes off, they peer up at the scoreboard and see if they have more points than the other guys. These boys are big and strong, with a lot of mean mixed in. They have an attitude because nobody knows who they are, but they are the real deal. They have a top D, leading or close to it, the NFL in sacks

A few weeks back, I was watching NFL ticket with 8 games going. One game jumped out, the Bills. On D, each man in their front 4 was positively dominating the hell out of his man. One guy was really impressive. DE Jerry Hughes. Only 255, he is a coaching clinic on DE play. Quick, speedy and very violent with his hands. He had 10 sacks last year and has 9.5 this year. The DT's are like the old Williams wall for the Vikes. Marcel Dareus is a former high draft pick and he is an All Pro whether they voted him in or not. The other DT is Kyle Williams and he can stuff the run or rush the passer. Another solid player few have heard of. The other DE? Super Mario Willams, who has lived up to the hype, but news trickles down slow from upstate New York. Bulaga better get it together bc Mario is the type of end that gives him fits.

The rest of the D is a solid mix of vets who know how to play behind their solid front four. Safety Aaron Williams is another star, the other guys competent.

The Bills are still smarting from a close loss to Denver in which they totally got screwed by the refs.

It's a sellout in Buffalo and the fans and the players are licking their chops at a shot to show what kind of team they have.

Buffalo is looking to go 4-0 vs the NFC North.

Green Bay has never beaten the Bills in Buffalo (supposedly, I didn't check that).

We'll have to do some good against this defense, hopefully we can contain their iffy Offense & QB and scoop one up here.

If the Packers win, they see Seattle at home in playoffs.
