With everyone in the playoff race in the NFC at 10-3 or 9-4, this game means a LOT for the Division, Bye and Home Field. But next to nothing for qualifying for the playoffs, though that is possible with a win this week.

UPDATE (Dec. 14, 11:04 a.m.): The interactive tables above have been updated to include the results of Thursday’s ARZ-STL match-up, and that game has been remov…

                I agree.....It sure appears that:

Except when you factor in Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy.

Alot of mixed feelings going on in here today.

This is one of those games where the Packers should win, but I wouldn't be surprised if they lose. I'm hopeful for a win, but I'm not seeing it.

Who is Mark Goodson? Who is Bill Todman? And Who is Bruce Gaston?

I am not keeping up very well with the bottom of the Packer roster. Hmm. Must be slipping.

I do know Chris Banjo, though.

And Carl Bradford must be light-years away if he's not active when AJ Hawk and Sam Barrington are your inside linebackers, and Lattimore's gone to IR.

Gaston is a DE they signed off the heap (street or PS) two weeks ago. Goodson and Todman is a joke but one that references the fact that Demetri Goodson, CB is active along with Banjo.

The good news is that we may see more of Starks today...and I think he will impress.

However, I'm afraid our offense is going to really struggle today. McCarthy is going to have to be aggressive. He is going to have to find creative ways to use Cobb out of the backfield to force the defensive front seven to account for him. The TEs need to step up today and attack the middle of the field. Otherwise, we are looking at scoring 17-20 points like we typically do against a physical defense.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

                            DT Bruce Gaston

                            WR Jeff Janis
                            TE Justin Perillo
                            QB Scott Tolzien

Once again, Tolzien, Janis, Gerhart, and Bradford are inactive; these players have been active for a combined five games all year. House was ruled out on Friday, so his deactivation was clear. Perillo also has not been playing since Brandon Bostick returned from his injury, while Gaston was a recent add to the roster for defensive line depth and was inactive last week as well.

Chris Banjo, who was just signed to the active roster when Jamari Lattimore was placed on injured reserve, will play today. He will likely contribute heavily on special teams but probably will not play much if at all on defense. Eddie Lacy is active as well, though how the snap breakdown between him and James Starks falls out will remain to be seen.

Packers 31 Bills 17. Lacy is ineffective but Starks picks up some slack and DuJuan Harris takes a couple screens for big yards.

Like the idea of Harris taking some screens, but with both Lacy and Starks improving as pass catchers, his window is now a porthole. By the end of the game, it might be a peephole.
