Question for those who know... isn't the blocked field goal like a punt? Shouldn't the Lions have started at around the 20 or so where the ball landed? Or did a Packer have to actually down the ball?

I honestly have no clue, i thought it was live. They could have returned it, why wouldnt it be downed there?

No. Only if the Lions try to advance the ball after the block.

No, it is live...but only the Lions can pick it up and advance. If they choose not to, then it is treated like a missed FG I believe.

I believe the defense can try to return it but has no obligation to. And if they dont touch it they get it at spot of the kick.
