    Simply a small point pbmax....not damning !

    Some fans want to point to a small common connection for Mike McCarthy and Shawn Slocum from early in their coaching careers. That's IMO smaller than hailing from TEXAS.

    TT and Shawn Slocum: Roots... common roots: TEXAS and again...NOT DAMNING.



    The bigger picture:

    What this will come down to in this off season is intent described by action and nothing else.

    Packer Nation deserves to see change. It's got to happen NOW not two-three seasons from now.

    I do understand Ted Thompson's Brides Maid mentality but for the vast majority of Packer Nation hopefully that doesn't wash.

            The thing that should be most damning to Slocum is this: For the first time anyone can remember he can't use injuries as an excuse... Remember all the whining about how he never knew who would be available each week? That and he was allowed to use Cobb on returns.... Still last place....

              PT, he used injuries this season as an excuse. He intimated that the blocked kicks happened bc of the injuries to Sitton and Lange.

              7 kick blocks is my last straw, it should be McCarthy's too.

                I guess none of us really ever knew how harmful the BJ Raji injury would be for special teams and it finally reared it's head in the NFCCG..... Not even Slocum could coach his way out of that predicament....
