  • 2014 All-Pro Team Selections.

The Associated Press released its 2014 All-Pro Teams on Friday, unveiling its first- and second-team rosters. See Around The NFL's Chris Wesseling's full analysis of who all made the cut.

2014 All-Pro Teams: Analysis of the full rosters.

By: Chris Wesseling ... Around the NFL Writer

    Published: Jan. 2, 2015 at 02:15 p.m. ... Updated: Jan. 2, 2015 at 10:01 p.m.

" When historians and researchers study an NFL player's career, it's not the number of Pro Bowl selections that carry the most weight. Landing a spot on the All-Pro first team has always been more prestigious, as well as a more accurate sign of a player's value during that season.

The 2014 All-Pro squad was announced on Friday. Here is our position-by-position breakdown:"
    ** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.

** If God doesn't fish, play poker or pull for " the Packers ", exactly what does HE do with his buds?

Didn't like some of the selections. Kuhn, Kuechly, Pouncey, Suh, Zack Martin. They are all good players, but there are better players at their positions. This is just another reason why the All-Pro votes should not be submitted by beat reporters. They just don't know enough about football to accurately vote for things like this.

Not sure who'd know more than the beat writers. Fans? obviously not. Players? take a look at the top 100 each year. Scouts? Probably but reading McGinn enough tells how widely varying and wrong they can be too.

Kuhn? Until they figure out how to have some sort of flex position to make 11 he's as good a selection as any at FB
Kuechly? He's a great ILB. Tough to argue that one too strongly I'd say.
        Suh - no brainer All-Pro
Martin - Maybe agree with that but he beat out Sitton by two votes so he barely made it onto the first team. Sitton had an all-pro year for sure.

        Packer Selections

        First Team - Rodgers, Kuhn
        Second Team - Sitton, Nelson
        Received Votes: Matthews, Linsley, Bulaga

Bulaga had a very good year. He was ranked as the #2 highest rated RT in the league this year by PFF.

Brian Bulaga had a solid contract year.
