ON OFFENSE:Originally posted by Maxie the Taxi View PostCobb was a definite Winner. The guy is a 1st down machine and the last catch he made was for the game.
Richard Rodgers had a huge catch in the back of the end zone.
Lacy was a beast.
Stubby saved himself from being a loser by challenging that Bryant catch.
I am a Loser because I said it was a stupid challenge.
I agree with all you wrote above. Don't be tough on yourself and MM's flag. Did you see it from a good angle? The action as a whole sure looks like a solid catch.... that wasn't. I too thought that MM had done it again and threw a flag for nothing. I'm really glad I was wrong.
MM !!
I have to add Aaron Rodgers as he recovered big time in the second half and he had an overall solid day.
The last catch on the Rodgers deflected pass was astonishingly great. Cobb has some abs to make that stretch catch.
Devante Adams was super today. I'm guessing he comes to play for huge games Vs solid teams.
Eddie Lacy is simply...what ever is not to like. Eddie is the MAN.
ON DEFENSE:
Julius Peppers had a great day ! Overall 4 tackles and 2 Assisted tackles a SACK and 2 Forced Fumbles.
Nick Perry had 3 Tackles and 1 Assisted tackle and 1.5 Sacks. A great effort for this man who was due.
Mike Neale had 4 tackles and 2 Assists and a 0.5 Sack.
Clay Matthews as usual worked his tail off....2 Tackles and 2 Assists.
Bad:
I thought our cornerbacks had a rough day. Will Sam Shields soon recover? WE need this young CB to step up next week.
AJ Hawk had 1 tackle and 2 Assists and looked surprized one time. Hahaha
His partner in crime Brad Jones is just bad news.** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.

Yeah. That was the Defenses season in a nutshell. Good and vulnerable all at once.Originally posted by denverYooper View PostSomehow the defense had a great day. I still don't understand it, but they managed to play some great situational football.
Peppers strip of Murray and Perry's back to back sack and a half were something else.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Quarless (hard to argue about 4 catches but that penalty nearly cost them big time and it was his second)

Sure invented a new way to defend against the screen pass...tackle the RB before the ball is thrown.Originally posted by pbmax View PostWinners:

He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Adams, Quarles and the OL seemed to find another gear in the second half. I think all of them got their dander up for one reason or another. I think the dust up Lang had got the entire OL charged up.One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics.
