I seem to remember the Oilers allowing the Bills to comeback from 32 points as the worst game ever.

no, that was the BEST game ever. For a Bills fan. Non-Packer non-seattle fans thought they saw a 'great game' yesterday.

I hated the Packer Wild Card loss to the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, January 3, 1999:

I didn't by all reason believe that the Packers would go to Seattle and win there yesterday.

As that game progressed it sure appeared to me that my analysis was wrong. That inspite of the Packers doing lots that was wrong in that game; the Seattle Seahawks were in such a funk that they would actually drop that game at home to the visitor.

I got a strong feeling the Packers were going to the Super Bowl again.

Then the ship that is Seattle righted itself with the Packers help. The defending Super Bowl Champion earned another berth in the big game.

It was just another example of what makes sports great.

Ok....I voted. Worse loss in the history of sports. I root for the Packers....and the Cubs...don't really care about any other teams out there. The SB loss was at least a fight and not a mistake filled collapse. The Philly loss was NOT the NFC title game...the Giants game was a game at least. The others all hurt, but this hurts worse due to short bus syndrome that kicked in at the end.

For me, worst Packer loss. In 1971 Blackhawks lost Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to Montreal 3-2 after taking a 2-0 lead. Bobby Hull had a chance to make it 3-0 but hit the post in a slapshot. Yesterday's loss might have been the worst if it had been a Super Bowl.

The loss itself wasn't bad, the way it went down was.
