Seriously, this piece entirely about Janis through M3's comments yesterday at the combine was Garbage.

I'm guessing this is the link:

Basically he didn't start getting it until after thanksgiving, and by then they didn't want to change anything. Also MM expects a jump for year 2, which is a) no shit, and b) a message to Cobb that he doesn't hold all the leverage in the negotiations (just most of it).2025 Ratpickers champion.

I find it interesting to compare Charles Johnson and Jeff Janis. I found the following
Category - Johnson / Janis
Height - 6'2" / 6'3"
weight - 215 / 219
40 yard - 4.38/ 4.40 and 4.37
Shuttle - 4.31 / 3.98
3 Cone - 6.96 / 6.64 (3rd best among WRs at 2014 combine)
Vertical - 39.5 / 37.5
Broad - 11'1" / 10'3"
Bench Reps - 14 / 20 (4th best among WRs at 2014 combine)
Janis is a bit bigger, a lot stronger. solidly quicker and just as fast as Johnson. Johnson has the advantage in jumping.
Janis had a 30 on the Wonderlic, so he is a bright enough kid. Couldn't find a Wonderlic score for Johnson. Janis was said to be a tireless worker in the weight room in college. Johnson, too, is said to be very driven, now that he has seemingly matured.
After having Charles Johnson snatched away from them in 2013, they seem to have found a very similar athlete a year later.
It will be interesting to watch the two as their careers progress.Last edited by Patler; 02-20-2015, 03:12 PM.

After getting shingles and nearly not graduating, Janis could go pro with the singing belly button trick. Or sell insurance."Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. Rather be as I am and feel real sympathy for his sickness." - Woodbuck

I wonder how many rookies do have their degrees?"Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. Rather be as I am and feel real sympathy for his sickness." - Woodbuck
