    Hey guys, how about this:
NFL draft: 5 prospects who could become rookie Pro Bowlers

    Quinten Rollins, DB, Miami (Ohio)

Yes, this is the darkhorse pick of the group, but I can envision Rollins quickly earning star status. It would be one of the season's great surprises to see him go straight to the Pro Bowl, and he has the ball skills to come in and make a big impact right off the bat. Rollins is most likely a second-round pick, and he played only one season of college football after four years as a starter for the basketball team. He made seven interceptions in 2014 on his way to earning MAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. With the right team, he could start racking up takeaways. What if he goes down the same path as Jairus Byrd, a second-round pick in 2009 who was not just a Pro Bowler, but an All-Pro after making nine picks as a rookie? The team that picks Rollins will have a plan to feature him from Day 1.
    Music to my ears.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Quinten Rollins held QBs to a passer rating of 44.9 on go routes, with just four completions to three interceptions #NFLDraft

Joe Whitt on his new backfield:

Whitt: We're happy to have (D. Randall & Q. Rollins) coming in. The CB/secondary room has changed. The addition of these 2 men is exciting.

#Packers CBs coach Joe Whitt here. Excited to get new group. The best players will play. The next guys will sit there and work to get ready.

Whitt will let practice determine who’s outside and who’s in slot

Tyler Dunne ‏@TyDunne 3m3 minutes ago
Joe Whitt says it's a tough position to learn, but, on Rollins... "I do know that his rare ball skills, that is something special."

Packer Report ‏@PackerReport 3m3 minutes ago
Whitt notes just one rookie Pro Bowl corner in last 10 years. Hard position to come in and play early.

Green Bay Packers ‏@packers 2m2 minutes ago
Whitt on Rollins: Most of the guys you coach played basketball in HS anyway. The skill set is something you're used to. #PackersDraft

Whitt on Randall. Quick. Played a lot in the slot. Aggressive in coverage.

Packer Report ‏@PackerReport 20m20 minutes ago
“How do we play winning football quickly?” that’s the challenge, Whitt said.

Whitt puts value in interceptions – not just PBUs. Likes what Randall, Rollins add to the mix.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

If the #Packers didn't take Rollins, good chance the #Colts would have three picks later. Worked the corner out last week, Pagano liked him.

I like Rollins better than I liked Hayward two drafts ago. But, then this is the most likeable pick on the surface this season. (Thus far.)

I love this pick. I also love yesterdays pick. I'm surprised they didn't give the kid yesterday the # 36. I'm surprised they didn't give this kid 38 right off the bat.

                That's the mold they fit.

Randall is wearing 23. What number for Rolly?

                    Mike Tanier, Bleacher Report*: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...-cards/page/32

                    Strengths: Athleticism, tackling.

                    Weaknesses: Experience, technique.

This draft class is full of inexperienced cornerbacks with intriguing upside.

Jalen Collins was only a one-year starter at LSU. Charles Gaines moved over from wide receiver to cornerback for Louisville as a junior. Nick Marshall decided he didn’t want to be associated with this year’s quarterback class, ripped off his bright yellow no-hit jersey at the Senior Bowl and became an instant cornerback prospect.

This is Richard Sherman’s fault. EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IS RICHARD SHERMAN’S FAULT.

Rollins was a physical shooting guard with limited range for four years at Miami of Ohio before realizing that NBA shooting guards are expected to shoot accurately. He switched to football and demonstrated immediate quickness, instincts and the tackling technique of someone who has been doing it for years.

He also has the competitiveness of a four-year starter at another sport and the ability to bounce back from mistakes that comes from a career .241 three-point percentage.

Rollins’ long speed is suspect, and it takes more than athleticism and tenacity to cover NFL receivers. But Rollins has a broad skill-and-attribute set and a high ceiling.

Some picks make more sense in tandem than when viewed individually. Neither Rollins nor first-round pick Damarious Randall is all that exciting, but taken together, they represent an important reshaping of the Packers secondary.

                    Grade: B+

Sherman ran 4.60 at the combine--according to NFL Draft Scout.

Sherman is not a burner, but he has more stature and 'great' hand technique.

This is my favorite of the picks... this guy has HUGE upside. For being a basketball player, he sure looks like a very willing tackler too. Usually don't get that from the "ball hawk" types.
