Pack picks Ryan. There's your LB red.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

This is a good pick...a kid with something to prove who fell due to injury more than anything else. Captain of a Big Ten team like Michigan to boot. To me, he won't be any worse than Hawk has been the last few years...and has potential to get better very quickly.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

Ryan is a very interesting & good pick for #Packers…still learning, but could be starting ILB…allow Clay to go back to OLB possibly in time
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro ~Hunter S.

Great pick, loving what TT has been doing in the draft so far.

so yeah, no worse off then we have been, and the kid could turn out to be a good one

Very excited about the upside of the Ryan pick. Better potential than many picked this late.

And we didn't have to waste a top 5 pick on him!!!

From the reports I've been reading though they have been comparing him for Desmond Bishop!!! We can only hope.

                        meh...

Ryan's ceiling is pretty low... he's so limited athletically that he probably has no chance of getting on the field in subpackages.

Ryan's better than nothing, but he doesn't solve our ILB problems - he's just another body.

Good piece from a Michigan paper on Ryan: http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/inde...e_ryan_wa.html
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

                            But can he run?

no, because his agent came out yesterday that if he was drafted later then the first 3 rounds, he would not sign his contract and would re enter the draft next year
