Wasn't it 2010 when the kept 3? Hall, Kuhn and Johnson. Maybe that's the problem, not enough fullbacks!

Kuhn has to be on his last year, if they even keep him. This kid (or another FB) could spend a year on the practice squad (they often keep one there), and be ready to take over next year.

well, if nothing else, a lot of wisconsinites will have a good time cheering on a fellow polack

whats the sound that polacks make when they're happy???????????

imagine this sound by about 50,000 people everytime the guy touches the ball

I gotta believe Ted was chuckling to himself a bit over this pick: "Gotta give those old guys chugging brandy at the Star route lounge in Necedah something to cheer about"

Our future FB, this is Kuhn last season IMO. Ripkowski also have experience as an in line blocker from the TE position so I think he makes the team as a special teams player and goal line/short yardage situations then replacing Kuhn as starting FB next year.

Agreed. By the end of the year, if he picks up the protections, he may pass Kuhn on the depth chart.

He actually looks like he could get one yard when we need it.

He looks bigger, faster, stronger than Kuhn.

I like the vision of this kid leading for Lacy.

                            WORKOUT RESULTS

                            STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES

Smash-mouth style, will run through a wall for his team...well built upper body and runs behind his pads...will break tackles and run through contact...physical blocker in pass protection, using his hands well - looks for the decleating hit...inexperienced as a pass catcher...overaggressive and gets overeager as a blocker, lunging himself and ending up off balance.

                            PLAYER OVERVIEW

Ripkowski steadily improved during his time as Norman, arriving as a reserve in 2011 and going on to play in 12 games with one start the following season.
He started seven of 13 games as a junior, and caught a touchdown pass against Iowa State. As a senior, Ripkowski was a second team All-Big 12 selection by the league's coaches after starting nine of 13 games at fullback. He scored on a pair of one-yard touchdown runs.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
