  • Nelson and Cobb - Best year in history by two receivers

    The facts speak for themselves.

    From GBPG:

In 2014, Cobb and Jordy Nelson became the first duo in NFL history to both register 90-plus receptions, 1,200-plus receiving yards and 12-plus touchdowns in the same season.

Nice. That'll be tough for them to replicate. They were really the only two serious threats receiving last year. I can see an even better year (aprh) for the offense but others (Lacy, Adams, TE's) will likely grow into more significant roles.

It is remarkable how some don't think we have the best WR tandem in the league.

They aren't flashy. They aren't mouthy. They aren't self-promoters. They haven't been arrested or suspended. They haven't demanded new contracts, held out to get one, or even threatened to hold out.

How good can they really be???

My only concern about these two is durability, especially with Randall.

They are both great guys and smart as hell.

They stay healthy and we are in the play-off dance in Jan.

Nelson has to get fully healthy after hip surgery too.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

To be honest, it does concern me. They have been secretive about it, while simultaneously downplaying the significance of it. Often, that is a bad combination.

Hey, that's what my now-ex-wife did when she had an affair!

Yeah the Packer medical/training staff does not instill a lot of confidence.

Chris Carter and Randy Moss? I'd take those two in '99 over Cobb and Nelson I think.
