Charlie Sanders has died. He was a good one. A very smooth player. Caught the ball effortlessly, ran like a wide receiver. Different than the more lumbering TEs of his time. Probably would have fit in well with the receiving TEs of today. The difference with Sanders over many of today's TEs is that he was a very good blocker who enjoyed that part of the game. I think he was a converted DE, as I recall. Made the transition after a few seasons in college.
