Randall Cobb, Alshon Jeffery both practice ahead of Bears-Packers clash http://wp.me/p14QSB-9QBy
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The starting OL all practiced today.
        I can't run no more
        With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
        Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
        A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Everyone but Burnett practiced in the part open to reporters.

Unless we screw up with turnovers and penalties we'll win this game. We have the more talented roster and the bares are starting a new era with a new coaching staff. I guess Jeffries is playing but besides him who do they have for Cutlet to throw to? And will Forte still be what he was? Isn't he about the age when RBs begin to decline?

And while Cobb's range of motion remains limited as his shoulder heals, the Packers can rest a bit easier knowing the idea of opening the season sans two of the NFL's best receivers is growing unlikelier by the day. How effective Cobb will be, though, is a separate story altogether. He is but a few days removed from the shoulder pain disrupting his sleeping habits, let alone enduring a game of football.

I kinda hope Bearded Mike (hereafter known as "BM") holds Cobb out of this game, and the team can squeak by.

There is nothing wrong with a cautious BM, squeaks and all. We wouldn't want anybody to get hurt.

McCarthy was noncommittal on how much Randall Cobb can -- or will -- play this weekend. Cobb said he'll be on the field dealing with pain.

                      Chance he doesn't even play?

They'll just run Lacy every time and then have Janis running fly patterns for a couple play-action passes. I saw it done on Madden once. There is no way they can lose.

There are being closed mouthed about Burnett's chances too. If Hyde is back at safety over Richardson, that means Randall will be nickel outside CB. Hayward will need to move in.

Burnett's having a calf is making me have a cow.

                              Yep. He's got a calf.

Safety Morgan Burnett was held out with a calf injury for the second consecutive day. He watched practice from the sidelines in sweats.

As pre mentioned, for me it boils down to the OL. If they buy AR time we win. If not, I'm stressed. Lacy, and the threat of Lacy, should have a huge impact on this game
