  • Boyd done?

    Looks like IR.
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

It seems they were going to cut him anyway. Or was another DL lower on totem pole?

So much for the "just a small ankle bone" report. If Boyd had to be sacrificed in order for Lacy's injury to be "minor" then I am all for it.

Packers signing Joe Thomas to active roster likely means Boyd is in fact done.

I've done that! Tore the two that reach over the top of you foot. Given the pre-historic medicine of the time, it was either six or eight weeks in a cast.

I got very fast with crutches and hopping. When the cast finally came off (smelled wonderful) it looked like my foot had died. Significant bruising, peeling skin, the lot. From the knee down, looked like a zombie appendage. I think the cast and I went out for halloween as a hospital patient.

Tons of fun, everyone wanted to look and then regretted it.

          Good times.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Losing any Packer player for the year stings a little - I hate seeing our guys go down.

BUT...Was Boyd really doing much. I saw more from Pennel and Gaston. Plus Giuon comes back after Monday.

With that said....NO ONE ELSE IS ALLOWED TO GET HURT!

The #Packers have placed defensive lineman Josh Boyd on injured reserve. ILB Joe Thomas takes his place.
