    Mike Tice must have graduated from Burnsy's old pro coach school. He had everything down pat but the winning part.
    One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

        I remember Burns in GB under Lombardi, I also remember Schnelker as Lombardi's WR coach. He came back later as OC in the '80s.

          OC under Bart. Was in charge of those fantastic offenses of Dickey and Co. Damn he loved that reverse to Lofton. And it almost won us that Divisional game in Dallas in '82.

              PHIL SIMS! He's not a coach but he's deserving announcer. Just pissed me off with an inane Arod comment.
