Saw that one too, and it's so ridiculously improbable that you have to assume there were some pretty mitigating circumstances to cause that - weather? General drunkenness?

Okay, I had to look it up. I had to see what John Hadl's worst game was as a Packer.

      http://www.pro-football-reference.co...7512070min.htm

11-30, 93 yards, 0 TD, 3 INT, passer rating of 9.1 in a 24-3 loss to the Vikings.

Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw poster a "0" three times, the most by anyone?????

He started 158 games, played in 168, and had 158 games qualify with 10 or more attempts. He posted three zeros while throwing to two HoF'ers after taking the snap from a HoF'er and having the option to hand off to a HoF'er for most of those games.

My favorite one is Ryan Leaf: 1-15, 4 yds, 2 INT.

Bradshaw was there before the three other HoFamers. So it could have been early in his career with Frenchy Fuqua.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Good grief was Favre terrible in that Thursday night game in Dallas. He looked like he wanted to be elsewhere. Rodgers comes in and looks miles better. Then he breaks his foot the following week.

Rodgers versus that Buffalo D was painful to watch.

They happened in '70, '75 and '82. '70 was Noll's 2nd year. They were 5-9. '75 was a Super Bowl year. They were 6-3 in '82. In '70, Steelers also had a 0 game from Terry Hanratty.

He was terrible and getting benched early in his career so 1970 makes sense. The first two Steeler SB teams were all defense and running. Second two were passing and Mel Blount scaring the crap out of everyone else. So 75 is believable; if they lost, the running game was probably desultory. If they won, Bradshaw probably passed 7 times.

82 was the beginning of the heyday of my revenge on the Steelers. The wheels were falling off and Gabe Rivera and Louis Lipps wouldn't be able to carry the team. Around this time Bradshaw was hurt and eventually forced to retire. He has never forgiven them for what he perceived to be bad medical advice and being hurried to return. It was a great time to live among Steeler fans.
