I think Rodgers ends up calling the majority of the plays.

              • I actually don't like these fast starts. Too many times momentum changes and it's a game again. Must keep foot on the gas.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

                  • That was a perfect, no contact, pick play. Not even Jeff Tripplette's crew could fault that.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Packers do that to lots of teams.

No doubt Aaron makes a lot of adjustments and amendments but I think we're seeing a different philosophy with Clement's and Aaron than with Aaron and MM. How many times have we watched them continue to try to go long in the past regardless of what the D was playing. They seem to be more willing to dissect the D and surgically pick them apart now instead of always going for the home run. I'm sure not having Jordy or a legitimate deep threat right now plays into the equation as well.

Tripplette's crew would have found something else to call.
