  • Daniel Fells Could Lose Foot After Cortisone Shot

Fells gets a cortisone shot to fight inflammation and pain in his ankle. Gets infected with MRSA.

Now he is at risk, after 5 surgeries, of losing the foot.

Giants tight end Daniel Fells's MRSA infection is so serious that he could have to have his foot amputated.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think cortisone is an immunosuppressant... not the best combo with MRSA...

Staph is one everyone's skin, MRSA on about 1 out of 50. Even with perfect precautions, any time you get an injection, there is risk. No lawsuit here, most likely. MRSA is prevalent in communal type situations. If you get cuts and abrasions, clean them and cover them when you are in groups. It's a reality of drug resistant microbes in our world, but with a few precautions, you be OK.

Poor guy, he might lose his foot. If they wait too long, it could be worse.

I heard he may not lose his entire foot but his playing days are over. What a sad situation for him.
