Crazy how many undefeated teams we still have, and due to that, over half the conference has a losing record. Really interesting season.

      Still not buying Atlanta.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

NFC South is weak. They have to play the Panthers, though. I believe they'll make the playoffs on account of their current win total and their schedule, but they'll lose to the first good team they play in the postseason.

At this point, the Cards look like the most dangerous team in the NFC we could face.

Their defense is still a question mark. Their run defense is #1 in YPG, but that's partly because teams haven't run the ball much against them. Their YPC average of 3.9 is good, but they've given up 8 rushing TD's, the worst in the NFL. Their pass defense is 29th, giving up 288 YPG. They've gotten away with it because they've picked off 6 passes. They're 28th in sacks with just 6. Not sure what to make of them yet, although it's not a surprise they've improved defensively with Dan Quinn taking over.

I picked the Saints in last night's game. The Saints got most of the breaks, as they often do at home. Atlanta probably somewhere in between the two status of last nights bumblers and undefeated team.

That defense can be had, though its not terrible. I had read that even with the change in coaching, Ryan is still a one read guy and pressure will melt him. He struggles finding 2nd and 3rd targets.

This weekend's game between the Panthers and seachickens will be interesting to say the least. I hope Carolina wins just to keep Seattle down.
