I recorded the game and looked very closely at the hold/kick etc. Yes, his hand was there but you can't conclude from the game video alone that the ball hit the holder's hand. It's possible. It's extremely close. But it also looks from the video that Crosby hit the ball high. His foot is well off the ground at impact.One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
