Obama does, just like everything he roots for, the BEARS STILL SUCK!
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

There is something unusual going on this year. This was the 1st time in NFL history that 6 teams started 4-0. http://www.si.com/thecauldron/2015/1...ackers-broncos There are currently 5 undefeated teams and 2 more with just 1 loss. There are 10 teams with winning records and 18 teams with losing records.

oh well, I thought a few general barbs about old tropes would be harmless and non-partisan. I can still dream, can't I?

I suppose the Minny-Detroit game at Ford Field on Sunday is a big one in the context of the playoff chase. Minny with three losses would have to go 6-4 the rest of the way to get to what I think will get you in this year: 9 - 7. A win in Detroit, and they've got another divisional game in the bag.

Incredibly, a few Detroit talking heads this week mentioned that the Lions really can get back into the playoff hunt with a win Sunday. The same talking heads who said the season was over after the team lost badly to the Cards.

When you call in and try to hold them accountable, even in a polite way, they bluster and hang up on you.

Detroit can make the playoffs? That's a real knee slapper.

Detroit sports talk radio, and the fans that call in, never cease to amaze me. After the Arizona game the whole town wanted Stafford out, Lombardi (offensive coordinator) fired, Martin Mayhew fired.

After the Bears game, they're talking playoffs.

Wow, Vikings are a wildcard right now?

                          A bit surprised.

Only 10 teams in the NFL with winning records right now. Two 3-3 teams are in playoff position.

The was a hysterical segment during tonight's broadcast Jim Nantz was beside himself trying to square the math that gave you more undefeated teams in Week 6 than in any year since 1970 with the fact that there were the fewest winning teams in the League since 2002 (or 1992). He was really perplexed by this development
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
