  • Retired NFL Players Congress reaches licensing deal with NFL

This is a very good start. Apparently, they will sell their own line of clothing, and intend to have some available at the Super Bowl.

I think they are smart, taking a solid business approach to trying to remedy the financial problems many of the older retired players face. It's clear the NFLPA cares little about them, basically giving the issue lip service, and not much substance.

This could be big for the retirees. If they have control of some branded product and are allowed to put the team logo along with their names on it, they can make hay.

            Big High School football fan.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
