  • BRONCOS CUT 2ND STRING OG WHITLEY

Broncos | Whitley may have been cut
    Fri, 1 Sep 2006 18:33:35 -0700

Frank Schwab, of the Gazette, reports Denver Broncos OL Taylor Whitley left the team's facility Friday, Sept. 1, with his belongings, but he did not stop to speak to the media. The indication is Whitley will be officially cut Saturday, Sept. 2

Four year vet., spending his first two years in Miami. He was a starter for 11 games in Miami and listed as the number 2 RG on the Broncos depth chart. Maybe an interesting candidate.

The Broncos also cut 12 year vet. OT Carswell. He maybe an interesting guy to look at too!

    Get Em

TT should be putting a plan together to bring these guys in. WE need depth!

We need to look at bringing in the best O linemen available, then WR, then RB's.

TT will evaluate all OL cuts from DEN and ATL because they presumably will have the easiest assimilation to the lead zone scheme. I don't know this guy, but I'm sure TT is on it.

Heres another interesting possibility (from KFFL). I know alot of Rats liked this UofMN OL before the draft:

I think the Pack have to take a long look at any Denver or Atlanta OL. Eslinger seems like a perfect fit for the scheme. The other guy I'd like to see made available is Chris Liwienski of the Vikings. Not sure he is a fit for this scheme though.
