During this down period for the O, I've noticed something that makes me wince. When we need to move the ball down, one of the staple plays seems to be those smoke routes thrown parallel or only slightly down field. I keep freakin' out, it seems that eventually a DB is gonna jump a route and take it back on us. Isn't there anybody who can run a decent route downfield or a deep cross or somethin'?
Jones and Adams get zero separation and this is the only routes that have any room. I guess Adams and Jonesy are dinged, but Goddamn, somebody should be able to shake cover other than Cobb and RicRod.

Hey KY. Sorry for the late reply. I agree, unless you guys go on a hot streak which is certainly possible it may come down to the final game.Originally posted by KYPack View PostStill will probably come down to the last game match-up.
Good luck next season, Ras.
It's been a far more interesting season in the North than I thought it would be.
I expected GB to win the division, Vikings and Lions doing battle a ways back and the Bears dropping down to last.

You know, I've noticed the same thing. I keep wondering when a DB is going to swoop in and turn that into a pick six.
I also wonder what happened to the back shoulder throws? You don't have to be open to get one of those; in fact, it's better if you're not ahead of your guy. James Jones, where'd that play go?"The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

I'm so starved for excitement in my life I was rooting for both teams to lose. That's never happened in the history of the NFL to my knowledge! Alas, the bigger the dream the greater the disappointment.Originally posted by Harlan Huckleby View PostI was rooting for the Vikings against Arizona. I want the NFC-North to be tough and competitive. I want the Pack to have to beat Minn to win the division. It's more fun that way. I need some excitement in my life, man.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

And I am not sure RichRod gets open as much as he is just bigger than his D counterpart.Originally posted by KYPack View PostDuring this down period for the O, I've noticed something that makes me wince. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I withdraw my "good luck next season" comment. With Zim coaching, you guys will be ready to go & won't need any luck.Originally posted by Rastak View PostHey KY. Sorry for the late reply. I agree, unless you guys go on a hot streak which is certainly possible it may come down to the final game.
