You can catch a fumble....running back bursts through the line, ball gets stripped and a dude catches it.....still a fumble.

Right, but had a receiver caught it, would it have been recorded as a completed pass for Rodgers? If so, it should not be a fumble. I'm not arguing it for the Packers sake, as their shitty play deserves the fumble. I just think if the QB "pushing" the ball through in a throwing motion is a fumble on one play, but a pass on another that it's pretty stupid.

If they ruled it a fumble as they did ANYONE, receiver or not, would have been credited with a fumble recovery and not a catch.
