  • OFFICIAL Packers vs. Redskins PLAYOFFS thread

Alright Nutbags. I'm going to fire this sumbitch up because everyone else seems to be sitting on their hands afraid to bring this season home with a winning streak. I'm tired of all the negativity.

We're ten hours from the fucking fun park and you want to bail out. Well I'll tell you something. This is no longer a vacation. It's a quest. It's a quest for fun. You're gonna have fun, and I'm gonna have fun... We're all gonna have so much fucking fun we're gonna need plastic surgery to remove our goddamn smiles! You'll be whistling 'Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah' out of your assholes! I must be crazy! I'm on a pilgrimage to see a moose. Praise Marty Moose! Holy Shit!
I'm here to tell you that the Packers offense, while struggling, has been made to look much worse by the quality of the opposing defenses. Well, except for Chicago but, cough, division opponent, mumble mumble.

At least one close observer of the game is with me on the strength of the Pack's defensive opponents: Aaron Schatz at Football Outsiders (http://www.footballoutsiders.com/gam...f-preview-2016).

Green Bay's offensive decline looks worse than it really has been because of the quality of the defenses the Packers have played. Actually, Green Bay's entire season on offense looks worse than it really has been because of the defenses the Packers have played. Green Bay's schedule included six of this year's top seven defenses by DVOA. The top three defenses (Denver, Carolina, Arizona) represent three of the six losses since Green Bay came back from its bye week. In the last ten games, Green Bay has played only one defense ranked lower than 20th (Chicago). Washington's offensive improvement, on the other hand, looks better than it really has been because they've drawn most of the league's worst defenses over the last few games. The six Washington wins since the bye week include victories over the three worst defenses this year by DVOA (New Orleans, Chicago, New York Giants). Washington has only played one of the league's top ten defenses since their bye week (Carolina in Week 11).
That has been my suspicion for a while now, though I don't harbor any illusions that they do have some issues they haven't had over the last few years, though they have typically struggled with top defenses even with Jordy.

Get on board the Wagon Queen Family Truckster. We're going to the SUPER BOWL!

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Tretter will start for Bakhtiari. That's three LTs in as many weeks. Also out: Shields, Hundley, Walker, Perillo, Backman, Elliott.

David Bakhtiari will NOT play today. JC Tretter will start at LT in his place #Packers

I am nervous because this might be the last game of the Packers' season, and I am addicted to following the team each week, and posting on Packerrats regarding the potential fate of this team.

If they lose, I will probably disappear for a few weeks, and wonder what the hell I was doing with my time, posting all the time and reading every article in the JSO and GBPG. I will also disappear because - I admit - a season-ending loss hurts so much.

I feel like an addict who's about to lose his juice.

So really, I want them to win so I can continue with this addiction of mine.

Thus, JC Tretter better play his balls off today.

And each of them needs to just do his damn job today, on every play. Just do your job.

The UP channel? How many extra tiers are you paying for that one?

Kind of how Pirates of the Carribbean went from amusement park ride to movie franchise.

The most encouraging takeaway from this season is that Rodgers does listen to his fans, and has changed up his game due to the complaints. Ladies and gentleman, he has added the fumble to his game. Best part is he flips them in such a way that they are always returned for TD's. I have no confidence today and think Rodgers scores more points for the other team again today.

                              Go Pack go!
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
