No. Thompson is very good at evaluating talent, but he's far more like Stubby and scared to actually demand excellence of the coaching staff.

running is the one thing our defense can stop, why try and run it right up the middle on us?

Jackson is about 4 times faster than any player we have on our offense. If we don't acquire speed this offseason, we are toast.

Patriots are just as slow. Those combine numbers don't tell the entire story. The Packers need a TE and some o-line help. Jerry Rice also had a terribly slow 40 time.
It's more than just speed. Yeah, a speed guy would be nice and I'm sure they'll draft one.
But that is not the biggest issue.
