When I was growing up in Kentucky, I was a big Reds fan - and on the nightly news, when the Reds would beat the Cardinals, they would always say "The Reds shuffled the Cards" - well, not always, but often.

Is it Ok to say the Packers will shuffle the Cards? I'd like to see that happen.

Packers must:

- Disrupt Carson Palmer, preferably up the middle. He is a static target and can be had, but you can't allow hi to step up. More stunts for Clay up the middle. Pressure up middle will hurt AZ's crossing routes and slot receiver game, which are the major weakness in the Packer defense. Clay needs to get his hands up if he gets close but doesn't get home.

I think this will be the key matchup. The GB front 7 has played well in their last few playoff appearances (Seattle/Wash). If they can get after Palmer, he'll get the yips and his accuracy will go way down. Always has.

We have been bemoaning Rodgers struggles against pressure. At least he can move around and make some plays on the run. Palmer is a dead duck if his protection starts to disintegrate.

No matter what Wist says our defense hasn't been as terrible as he'd like us to believe. This year we were #7 in sacks and #27 against the pass (Denver, which was the best, was #32) if you look at team stats at nfl.com. Our run D isn't great.

They haven't been terrible, and the stats are generally okay, but dunderdummy is dunderdummy.

On that critical 4th and long?? He will inexplicably rush three and cover no one; on that critical 3rd and goal from the 5 and in?? he will inexplicably abandon the middle of the field - loves to abandon the middle of field... WTF is up with that?? I axk ya?? WTF??
