But if I had to make a guess Ted might go with a DT or DE after Raji took a hiatus this year.

My guess is that he takes on in the second round and its the guy Bretsky and wist have been posting they don't want.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

...and by doubling up in the second, a position of potential weakness became a position of strength, Hayward became expendable, and cap money was saved. The impact of not having to pay Hayward might manifest itself in 2017, when the O-line is hit hard with expiring contracts.

Yet, some will complain that TT has done nothing to fill holes or get better, when, in fact, that is exactly what he has done, but in a more subtle way than by going out and signing a big name FA.

          Who you talking about?
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

And my guess is that if that guy has a very good rookie season, Wist will continue to grumble that the guy is no good and posters just aren't realistic like he is.

No idea. My claim is kinship to Grecian theatre (wist/Bretsky are the chorus) than predictive methodology.

I get it. In that case, I won't disagree with you.

I'm just afraid we have a lot of holes heading into the draft:

                  -DL
                  -OL after this season
-If we move Clay to ILB permanently, then I think we could add an OLB
-If we move Clay to OLB permanently, then I think we could add an ILB
                  -3rd down RB
                  -TE

^That is the order I would rank them in as far as importance.

Seems like a tough task for 1 draft and no FAs IMO.

                      My wishlist:
                      1. Boundary cornerback
                      2. OL
                      3. ILB
                      4. TE
                      5. DL

I wouldn't call any of them holes, its not like any of these will be called on to start without injuries, but these are the positions where I feel its easiest to make the team. I'd love to put WR up there too because of how much they sucked last year but its already a logjam.

More than anything we need our existing players to take a step forward. We've got a lot of guys who are either still in the steep part of the learning curve or only need to get a little better to make a big impact.

I've been thinking the same thing. TT has been joking with reporters at his recent news conferences, to an extent that is uncharacteristic for him. The promotion of Wolf is to a title carried by TT last year or the year before. I think TT will stay through the end of his contract, but with a continual transfer of responsibilities.

I agree with the content of your list, but I would switch 1 and 5. If you have a DT rated higher than an ILB, the best gift to any ILB on the team is to have a guy like Vernon Butler disrupting the middle. Here is a Gil Brandt list of defensive players that he considers underrated. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...2016-nfl-draft The kid from Nebraska is intriguing too. I would love it if Sheldon Rankins dropped to 27th. Another great scenario would be if Reggie Ragland somehow dropped to 27th (likely won't) and Green Bay was able to get Maliek Collins at DT in the 2nd round, and an OL in the 3rd or 4th round, and possibly get that Tyler Higbee kid from WKU. Another scenario could be Sheldon Rankins in the 1st and Deion Jones in the 2nd.

I think this has a good chance of being there for GB

                              2nd Maliek Collins
                              3rd Joel Haeg

                              4th Tyler Higbee

Weather Ted does it is another story
