Saints | Team claims M. Haynes
Sun, 3 Sep 2006 13:02:45 -0700
John Mullin, of the Chicago Tribune, reports six teams placed waiver claims on former Chicago Bears DL Michael Haynes, but the New Orleans Saints were the winners. "He is a healthy, great kid who needs an opportunity," said agent Brian Mackler. "He'll be the fourth end and this is a great opportunity for him and for the Saints. Michael Haynes was the 14th pick of the (2003) draft for a reason."
