I think they will go BPA from OL, DL, etc unless there is a guy that is clearly a cut above the rest at a position like WR. If Hunter Henry is there in R2 for example, maybe they pull the trigger because of the value proposition. Otherwise, I think they'll go BPA from the 5-6 position groups that could use some fortification.

Let's look at it this way:

Packers pick comes up and Ragland plus 2 D lineman (5 tech DE and a 3 tech DT) with pass rush are available.

      Which way does Ted go?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

          Ragland.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I agree with this. Especially with a deep D line draft where a prospect will be available later. I think ILB would be at the top of the board if they listed them that way, but the draft will likely yield a D lineman.

It'll be interesting to see if it's Ragland or some other D-lineman. If it is Ragland, here is some more info to whet your appetite.

There's a video of him covering Hunter Henry.

Good thing it was just one play. But that was chosen as a highlight? He was late, the pass was under-thrown, he never turned his head, and got PI called. Other than that, he looked great!

So, he's already well-versed in the Packers' defensive scheme for linebackers?

                        Or the Jarret Bush role.

Bob's anonymous scout reporting for his draft guide is taking a beating on the Internets.

Possibly the dumbest anon scout quote of the draft season

                            Reggie Ragland/Austin Johnson

                            Andrew Billings/Deion Jones?

                            I like the former.

Billings/Jones... Billings is a beast in the middle of the line, and he has some good movement skills. Jones would bring us desperately needed speed and coverage ability on the 2nd level.

Billings/Jones has been my hoped for first 2 rounds for a few weeks now... although there are a lot of players I like in either spot, I would love to see those 2 guys in green and gold.
