    LaQuon Treadwell
    School: Mississippi
    Position: WR

Positive: Three-year starter awarded All-American honors last season and all-Conference honors since his freshman campaign. Totals last year included a career-best 82 receptions, 1153 yards and 11 TDs. Strong, game controlling receiver with limited speed. Fluid releasing off the line scrimmage, comes back into the clearing and extends his hands to make the reception away from his frame. Possesses soft and strong hands with the ability to pluck the errant pass from the air, makes the tough catch with defenders draped on him and exposes himself to the big hit in order to come away with the ball. Tracks the pass in the air, displays terrific timing and gets vertical over defenders to win out for the reception. Uses his large frame to shield away opponents, adjusts to the errant throw and consistently wins out in battles. Displays focus, concentration and plays with excellent balance. Works hard to pick up yardage running after the catch. Terrific downfield blocker.

Negative: Average quickness in his game. Lacks a burst and displays limited speed.

Analysis: Treadwell displayed himself to be a consistently dominant, game controlling receiver but has speed and separation limitations. He offers the ability to line up as a number one wide out in an offense that does not require him to run vertical routes.
    I can't run no more
    With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
    Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
    A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Maybe somebody will want Paxton Lynch in the Packers range.

BACKGROUND: A five-star recruit out of high school, Treadwell was considered one of the best players in the 2013 signing class and held offers from almost every program in the country, ultimately choosing Ole Miss over Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. He became the first player in school history to earn SEC Freshman of the Year honors in 2013, recording 72 catches for 608 yards and five touchdowns as the starting slot receiver, also adding numerous Freshman All-American honors. Treadwell moved to outside receiver as a sophomore and was on pace to pass his freshman numbers in 2014 before a gruesome left leg injury ended his season, finishing with 48 receptions for 632 yards and five scores. He missed the following spring practice of his junior year, but returned healthy for the 2015 regular season, starting every game and leading the SEC in catches (82), receiving yards (1,153) and receiving scores (11). Treadwell earned First Team All-SEC and All-America honors and became the first Ole Miss receiver to be named a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award.

STRENGTHS: Well-built for the position with a muscular upper body and sleek definition…long arms and large hands to create a very large catching radius…natural plucker with vacuum hands away from his body – snatches anything in his general direction…outstanding on 50-50 balls, showing above average body control and hand-eye coordination…lacks sprinter speed, but plays faster than timed speed due to strong, decisive strides, never playing hesitant…shows the ability to push routes, sink and quickly locate the football…plays with grown man strength to brush off tackle attempts and get every yard possible – rarely fazed by initial tackler in college due to his balance and power…has run-after-catch ability with his strength and athleticism, stretching screens into big gains…won’t allow defenders to chase him out of bounds…takes pride in his blocking, throwing his body and overwhelming defenders…very strong-minded competitor and doesn’t shrink under bright lights…innately motivated and wired right for professional football…carries himself like a leader with a goal-oriented mind-set – genuinely enjoys the comradery with his teammates…very grounded, mature personality for his age and handled adversity well after his 2014 season-ending injury – has one daughter (Madison)…highly productive in the SEC and leaves Ole Miss with the school record for receptions (202).

WEAKNESSES: Route running still a work-in-progress and wasn’t asked to run a full tree in the Ole Miss offense…needs to rely more on his footwork at the top of routes to create separation…speed is average for the position, lacking a second gear vertically to easily gain a step…will have the occasional focus drop, running before securing the catch…physicality is his calling card, but will also lead to offensive interference penalties with the way he uses his hands at times…aggressive blocker, but will get overeager and fall off his man…emotionally charged competitor, which led to several false start and unsportsmanlike penalties at Ole Miss…medicals are important to ensure no lingering issues from his Nov. 2014 left leg injury (broken fibula, dislocated ankle).

SUMMARY: A three-year starter, Treadwell lined up inside and outside in his career at Ole Miss and was consistently productive despite defenses game-planning against him, leading the SEC in receiving in 2015 – became the first SEC player to record 100+ receiving yards and at least one receiving score in five straight games. Treadwell has exceptional ballskills and catching radius with strong hands to pluck away from his body or scoop off his shoelaces – if the throw is anywhere within a few feet of his body, he’ll attack it. He isn’t a sudden athlete, but plays with athletic twitch and power to be a threat after the catch. Although soft-spoken, Treadwell, who grew up in a single-mother household and stayed out of trouble due to her strict, loving nature, is highly respected when he does speak up and plays like a warrior. He has the skill-set to develop into a legitimate No. 1 target in the NFL, similar to a lesser-dynamic version of Dez Bryant – top-10 talent in the 2016 class.

DL aren't getting taken as high as some expected, so maybe there will be some that drop to the end of round two.

I have weird feeling the Packers will surprise everybody and take somebody like DE Chris Jones or CB William Jackson.

Agree on DL; very deep draft there. DB or OL would be classic TT....like the OT from Indiana
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Hence, Billings!!! I think he's a plug and play guy... very safe pick.
Jack's knee is degenerative, he admitted it yesterday or today. Might be a one contract guy then need micro fracture.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Would be okay with Jackson - don't want Jones.

browns and cowboys want to get back into the first for a QB and i believe both have called the packers before the draft about a possible trade
