I stand corrected. That's almost exactly the league average across all positions where 30% of starters are first round picks and 47% of starters are first or second round picks."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

IU is not really an anything factory in football, but even if it were, 146 appearances is a lot for an offensive lineman.Originally posted by pbmax View PostPacker Report @PackerReport 1m1 minute ago
IU not an OT factory: The most appearances by a Hoosiers tackle in the NFL are 146 games — recorded by Bob Skoronski, 5th-rounder in 1956.

Don't think he'll take an ILB at all...Originally posted by pbmax View Postwist, what ILB do you not want in the 3rd round?
I want to make a bet on it.
I'll take a look to see who's left though... of those listed at ILB, I don't want any of them in the 3rd. There might be a couple of OLB's that I'd move, but would look at them as more 4th-5th round guys.
I like Jatavis Brown out of Akron, but not in the 3rd.wist

Reach for Gotsis? One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Aren't 13 ILBs just under half the League starters, not the majority? And weren't the Packers in that group until last year?Originally posted by HarveyWallbangers View PostI stand corrected. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Why draft an ILB when you've got Carl Bradford?
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
