No, he was a big contributor on defense last year and might well be a contributor later this year, especially if the usual injuries start to crop up among the LBs. Peppers is limited but that doesn't mean he's used up.Originally posted by Rutnstrut View PostAs I've said MANY times before, they should have cut Peppers this year.

The recent track record certainly points in that direction. Doesn't take long to do the complete circuit from UDFA to star to a guy who you very much hope will retire before his next hard jolt.Originally posted by KYPack View PostI thought it would be Starks.
It's hard to think of quick Sam as an old, hit-out vet.
But he may be.

He takes more plays off than not. They go youth in other areas, yet keep the part timer. It makes no sense.Originally posted by hoosier View PostNo, he was a big contributor on defense last year and might well be a contributor later this year, especially if the usual injuries start to crop up among the LBs. I wonder if Ted might use that money to acquire some capable RBs?Originally posted by Teamcheez1 View PostI think that Shields and Peppers will both be gone next year. That will free up $17M in cap space in 2017, and almost another $6M the following year.
Nah...why the hell would anyone want to do that? It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

how did this bombshell thread scroll down to the bottom?
maybe people saw it, fainted before they could click.
Lets try and be decent human beings for a second: the guy is best off retiring, it's good he's seen the light, or at least Uncle Ted has done the humane thing.
Now lets back to being real: mother fucker!

Heretic!Originally posted by Harlan Huckleby View PostPAckers weren't superbowl bound anyway, but this is a real blow to the defense. One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
