There is video of the last 25 minutes (real time) of the broadcast of the game.
Team down by one is near red zone, 1 TO left (that point is muddied in broadcast, so I could be wrong). Throws a pick. 32 seconds left, team with 1 point lead gets ball back.
Victory formation to win, right? Wrong.
Team down by one is lining up offside and swiping at the snap, before the QB gets the ball. That offside/diving at center seems orchestrated. The kids seem to discover there is no downside to swiping at the ball because it still stops the clock and the only call is 5 yards for offside.
Theoretically, you get some 14 attempts to do this before you are now on you own end zone facing a chip shot FG. But the scheme works on about attempt 5. Team gets the ball on a swipe and there is no offside call.
Gets worse, as the team down by 1 is now on offense and gets a DPI called to cancel an INT. Later there is a PF called that nullifies a missed FG.
Its the Buddy Ryan Polish defense on steroids. Sportsmanship loses out again.
