not enough talent, forever injured, stubborn gen manager, confusing coach, too many inexperienced players.

            • Perhaps the McCarthy era has run its course in GB.
Almost every phase of the team seem to under perform every week. They're putting a bad product on the field now for the fan's and that shouldn't be tolerated.
I'd look for a change after the season if thing don't get turned around. It hasn't happened in over a year now and I don't expect MM has anything left to go to.
I don't know who said it but the Packers have become "boring" and that's not good enough in Green Bay.

You forgot our best player and team leader playing at a pedestrian level for the past 20 games.

if they were playing like this with all the #1's i might agree but it isn't the case.

                    best player- yes,
team leader- ? we really don't know the locker room dynamic he presents. he says he's not a raw-raw guy,
pedestrian for 20 games- you know that's not accurate. he's had several good games sprinkled in that sample. some meh, some poor, 1-2 bad.

like i said earlier the injuries coupled with so many rookies and back-ups playing has taken it's toll. hoped they'd win today, bring back some starters next week and win again, and set up some momentum for wash and phi. i figured a win today and win 2 out of the next 3 would be great...but no. now it's win the next three or the season is done.

You are splitting hairs and playing the semantics game. It's not about being rah-rah, he's the team leader in the sense that he's a 9 year starting quarterback in the nfl, a former mvp, all-pro, the face of the franchise.
Yes pedestrian. For about 20 games he's played about 4 halves of good-great football. I'm pretty sure guys like Case Keenum.and Blaine Gabbert could say something similar. He shows flashes of brilliance, but if you look at his numbers over that time frame, they speak for themselves. He's been a fairly innaccurate qb, that doesn't accumulate a lot of yards, and his team has been losing more than they are winning. That's the truth.

You are right, hasn't played well for good stretches in the past 20 games. I can't believe his skills have gone to hell but he is probably getting bad habits that aren't being addressed by this coaching staff. His fundamentals are poor and he doesn't take what the defense gives him. Every player needs coaching so perhaps AR needs a new approach from fresh eyes.

                        • They have never taken what the defense gives them short. They will always look to go deep if there is single coverage somewhere. That is the entire design of the offense.

Its also part of what is broken right now because the deep ball isn't working.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

In a way, it's as if the great play of the OL has emboldened M3 to pursue his offensive design in the face of evidence that most of his skills players lack the ability to win their individual battles.

the part that baffles me still is that despite this design, all the WR still stop to look at the QB. I am guessing to check if ball came out or if he is running.

But how about continuing the route while looking?

If they are doing it in a game, (stopping and looking) they are more than likely doing it in practice. Why hasn't coaching dealt with it there?
