Giants are gonna play Detroit hard. And now Dallas is probably going to need that win against the lions to clinch. So the Lions have two very good and very motivated teams coming up, and then a 3rd with GB. I predict Detroit loses all three and doesn't make the playoffs We still have to win out.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

It's hard to imagine that Detroit can win both at NY and Dallas. Especially with Stafford's finger messed up.
But can Green Bay win out? These are going to be tough games.
I wonder if Stubby will be tempted to rest Matthews and Perry and even Lang this week, in hopes he can eke out a victory against an undermanned Bears team while getting them rested up."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Hard to say about Stafford. Carr dislocated a finger on his throwing hand and is wearing a glove now, but he looked pretty good with it on against Buffalo.Originally posted by Fritz View PostIt's hard to imagine that Detroit can win both at NY and Dallas. I worry more about Rodgers. Will he hold up the rest of the season? Would you sit him against Chicago, hoping the week off gets him a little closer to healthy when he'll be needed most? Or, with backs to the walls, does everyone have to play?

#Lions QB Matthew Stafford’s dislocated finger described as “a jammed knuckle.” Surgery not expected. To wear a brace or glove going forward

I read ligament tear elsewhere too. They might be leaking jammed knuckle to downplay it. We'll see how much he practices.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Per ESPN this morning:Originally posted by gbgary View Postper ian rapoport:
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford suffered a PIP (proximal interphalangeal) joint dislocation and torn ligaments to the middle finger of his throwing hand Sunday
...The top of Stafford's finger was bent downward at a 90-degree angle and he had no control over the top part of digit, the source said.
Another article said for it to heal properly, he may have to wear a splint, not just stabilize it with tape as they did for him to complete the game yesterday. One said it is not certain that he will be allowed to play. So far, only Stafford has said he will.

Dr. Chao on NFP is exceptionally accurate opining about what injuries are just from watching replays and from some initial reports. His prognoses are usually extremely good, too
.
He thinks the finger was dislocated, which always includes ligament damage. However, he said Stafford should be able to play with it and the injury will have little impact on his performance.

The Bears cannot be taken lightly. The Pack has to see them as a tough team and work hard all week to get by them.Originally posted by Fritz View PostIt's hard to imagine that Detroit can win both at NY and Dallas. Especially with Stafford's finger messed up.
