Joe did you check the common games tie-breaker between TB and GB? I've seen that published but I believe it's incorrect. I'm counting both at 3-2 vs. common opponents...

CBS, NFL and other sites are going to SOV and SOS for the tie-breaker, which puts GB in the 6 spot.

You're right. ESPN had it wrong. As of last week, TB had the common games edge over GB. But the Packers win over the Bears evened that up. So it goes next to SOV. ESPN is showing that a tie at .442. So it goes to SOS. Packers have the edge there .510 to .505.

This is where it really gets crazy. SOV can and will change. Packers and Bucs both beat Seattle, so what Seattle does doesn't matter. But the Bucs beat Atlanta once, and Chicago once. The Packers beat Chicago twice. So any Atlanta win would help the Bucs SOV, and any Chicago win would help the Packers SOV more than the Bucs SOV. I think.

Of course, it's all a moot point if the Packers win the division.

sov won't truly be determined until the end of the last game on the last weekend for teams that it will matter to. Packers just need to win, watch the scoreboard, and let the others worry about it.
