  • Julius Edelman a Green Bay Packer!?

Almost happened, in 2009 at the end of the draft.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Yup I saw him talking about that on NFL network the other day. Who did the Packers take instead? IMO this is another hoody genius example of excellent foresight. TT probably looked and just seen a mediocre QB.

7th round pick versus UDFA is excellent foresight?

      Try blind luck.

TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Brad Jones who couldn't get off the bench without shitting himself vs Edelman. Yeah, completely luck.

Brad Jones was a starter for a Super Bowl team long before Julius Edelman was.

He was a pass rushing starter (7 games) for the 2009 Packers, which was a Top 7 unit. He was hurt in 2010, but still started 5 games for the Super Bowl team when the Defense was a Top 5 unit.

But yeah, go with your version.

Those defenses were also "successful" with AJ Hawk. Sometimes things are just meant to be, even with an idiot like Jones fucking things up.

I suppose Hoody is so genius, he knew how good Edelman was going to be, but knew the rest of the league had no idea. So he just waited until the 7th round to take him. Fuck is that guy smart.

Can't trade Brad Jones for Edelman. Seriously, didn't Jones even get a sack in the SB? Granted, his re-signing was a failure, and he was not a huge long-term contributor, but we WON THE SUPERBOWL in 2010. Jones contributed to that and Edelman would not have. Enough said.

How can you say Edelman would not have contributed to that team had he been on it? That makes no sense.
