          With the 17th pick in the 2017Packerrats Mock Draft the Washington Redskins select:

          Dalvin Cook - RB - Florida St.

          BOTTOM LINE Very talented runner with outstanding balance, footwork and burst. Cook lacks the power that you may find with some running backs in this year's draft, but he is a homerun hitter with a resume featuring monster games against his most highly regarded opponents. Cook creates for himself with elusiveness and speed, but his value could be diminished by injuries, character and issues in pass protection. If everything checks out, he could become a rookie of the year candidate right away.

              With the 18th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the Tennessee Titans select Corey Davis.

              Although they wanted the speedy Ross, the need is still there to get Mariotta weapons. Davis provides that.
              Now what y'all know about dem Texas boys

                Two picks ago with the Ravens I was debating between Cam Robinson, Corey Davis, and Delvin Cook. Now they are all gone.

                  A lot of the guys I wanted for TB here were taken up just before this pick, so I'm going to go with talent meets need again.

                  Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan.

                  Wasn't a big fan of his initially, but if he's coached up I can see him being a Troy Polamalu type difference maker.

                        The Lions need help at Safety and in the front seven in general.

                        The Detroit Lions select Raekwon McMillan, ILB, Ohio State.

                        His highlight reel isn't particularly spectacular, but in watching the Clemson tape it became obvious that he will be a stout and reliable defender in the middle of an NFL defense for years to come. He takes good angles, diagnoses quickly, sets the edge, plays well in space (they even split him out on WR's where he played shallow zone mostly), is a solid tackler. Another player that grew on me the more I watched of him.

                              I haven't seen McMillan mocked in the 1st anywhere - until 5 minutes after I posted that. Turned on a mock on one of the ESPN's and they had him mocked in the 20's.

                              I actually think McMillan is a safe pick.
