Get out of here with your facts.

RT @PTTF_Brian: .@TheSweep_PTTF went back to 2005. They found 2 impact players taken at 29 in 11 drafts.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I probably shouldn't have mentioned Tim Williams. The chances TT drafts him are slim to none.

He's probably the best pass rusher/disruptive force in the draft according to a consensus of scouts. However, he's had a few failed drug tests in his past. Plus, "scouts say he has a difficult time adjusting to complicated defensive schemes." Definitely not a fit for Capers' defense IMO.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

        • smh at the most popular picture from the first round of the draft...google shows 3 photos of Trubisky when you search for "2017 nfl draft"! I wonder how the guy that was actually drafted first feels about that.

Also, McCaffrey said "no thanks" to private workouts requests.
Meh - Florio made some good points about this - there is plenty of film, pro day, combine. The private workouts have very little potential benefit to a player who's a lock to be first rounder.

As the annual season of "[insert player name] had private workout with [insert team name]" reports comes to a close, one name was not inserted into the first set of brackets this year.

The fear of course is that he's skipping a lot of stuff, how much does he actually want to play?

When you have that kind of college career and then destroy the combine, you don't need to do anything else.

MMQB has a good run down plus information that a "runner" for an agent that Cook did not choose was bad mouthing him and spreading rumors about him not showing up for NFL workouts on time.

Cook also has a fumble rate of 1 per 63.8 touches. That's really bad.

Wow. Per @mortreport, even @ChicagoBears coach John Fox didn’t know about plan to draft QB Mitchell Trubisky until a couple hours before.

Not only do the Bears still suck, it appears they will continue to suck into the future.

                    • So TT turned the 29th pick into Kevin King and Vince Biegel. Just wondering if people would rather have T.J. Watt or King and Biegel. I don't see Badgers play that much, so I'm not familiar with Biegel.

If McGinn and others are to be believed, GB wanted King anyway. In McGinn's mock first round, he had them taking King even though he had Watt being available to them. From that perspective, TT turned King into a less expensive King and Biegel.

As much as I didn't like the Biegel picks it sure beats the hell out of drafting Watt in the 1st.

                          • I would like the Biegel pick better if his name was Dobermann instead.
