I have to admit I'm surprised at the positive reaction on this forum at TT drafting a Safety.

This is how TT keeps the team good.

Rather than drafting RB's or LB's who could most likely start and help immediately , he piled up depth as a position of weakness with a possible foreshadowing of one of our best defensive players leaving next year.

TT can do no wrong, of course.

With round two I'd rather they pick somebody who can make a more immediate impact and keep one of our best defensive players. IF Burnett leaves...there is this thing called free agency............just sayin

Ted is going to hit us with "... he's a good football player".

Jones can't play the slot... he looks pretty straight lineish. He doesn't have a slotted role ready for him, and Dom won't have a clue what to do with him.

Likely won't get much out of him for a couple of years... typical TT pick.
