He left for Seattle with Ted and Holmgren in 1998, no?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    • so basically NO showed gute a shiny piece of glass and he took it. we had a no-brainer fall to us at 14, in james, and ended up with a guy we hope pans out. unless he's an every down starter this year, and is actually good, this pick didn't improve the D. he gets house's job next year by default.

      • Why does everyone think James is a no brainer? He had a historically bad agility drills. It's not like he's Eric Berry or Sean Taylor coming out.

Early 1999, along with Dorsey, I think.
Dorsey is in the pic, so Reinfeldt can be too.

Man, Patler returns and immediately unleashes the Patlerizer!

I thought that too, but then, where is Ted?

                    Andrew Brandt 1999-2007 http://www.andrew-brandt.com/about-andrew/
                    John Dorsey 91-98, 2000-11 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_D...ican_football)
                    Alonzo Highsmith Feb 1, 1999-2018
                    Mike Reinfeldt 1991-1998
                    -- hired in Seattle Jan 28, 1999 : http://nfl.packers.com/news/releases/1999/01/01-28.html

Ted Thompson was gone from 2000-2004 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Thompson
-- I think this is wrong as he would have left when MH and Reinfeldt did so more likely 1999-2004

                    • The guy behind Ken Herock is his son, Shaun, I'm fairly sure. The guy next to Shaun I believe is Sam Seale. The mustachioed white guy in the front I am fairly certain is Danny Mock.

                      • Maybe Teddy left a year later, his packers.com bio lists 2000-2004 as well

                        • Has to be before Jan 28 1999 as Reinfeldt did not return.

Highsmith and Brandt hired in 99 as well.

                          • FYI - I am fairly certain the identification of Red Cochran is correct. Hard to believe the guy was an assistant coach for most, if not all of Lombardi's years in GB and was still there as a scout for all of Wolf's years in GB. I think he only left for the few seasons that Phil Bengtson was HC.

                              In the closet?

                              Sorry, too easy.

The legendary Red Cochran story is the draft where Red pulled Bart Starr aside and told him the best guy on the board was Joe Montana and we had to draft him. When Starr failed to get Joe, Red yelled and threw his clipboard across the room, hitting the wall. Starr just looked down and didn't say a word.
