    Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer left the team's game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday because of a broken left arm.

    Head coach Bruce Arians confirmed the injury to reporters after Arizona's loss, adding the quarterback would undergo surgery and miss eight weeks.

    Palmer exited in the first half, leaving Drew Stanton in charge under center."

      It's not his throwing arm. Put a club on it and get him in there.
      One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

            Rodgers is younger, so he should get his bone working properly sooner than Palmer.
