Easy to beat a pass rush when the scheme is allow 10 yard completions and pray.
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

Well, if we end up with a top 15 pick next spring perhaps we'll have a shot at one.

We will draft OL with the top pick. QB with 2nd.

I could have sworn this was a glaring need going in to last offseason.

It was. We knew Peppers and Jones probably wouldn't be back, and the injury history of Clay/Perry plus the suspect depth behind them made the need look pretty serious. Signing Brooks was supposed to help, and might yet...but I agree they will probably have to draft a couple of them and hope someone emerges.

Which past rusher are you talking? Reggie White?

Pass rush has been a need since Super Bowl year.

Never should have let Howard Green go.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Packers have never recovered from losing The Stork.

Pass rushers seem to always go high in today's draft day. I really did like TJ Watt (see my signature) but part of the reason ...to me....it was a no brainer was my fear that there would be not much there for pass rushers in round two. And like the writer, I assumed TT would go get one in either round one of two because it was Captain Obvious Glaring we needed one unless Ted actually though that guy was Fackrell. Either way it does not look pretty at this point.

Looking back, there were a lot of good CB's getting picked around the area GB drafted in round two. Perhaps TT would have needed to move up a bit to get the one he wanted. But there were good DB's around. I'm not sure there was any value as pass rushers there.

                        Hence the captian obvious article

                          Now you're digging deep.

                          Wasn't he The Mad Stork?

I'm glad we have King and I think he's gonna be good but TJ was available when our pick was up and we then we traded down.
