The biggest benefit of Rodgers being out is a real honest evaluation of the rest of the roster.

I think Burnett's return sparks the D and we see a rebound. Kenny Clark and Mike Daniels set the tone. The Hound Dog gets 2 sacks.

But the offense continues to struggle.

This is the season. If Brett cant put a good showing against the Lions with an extra week of prep, AR will be shut down and we can look towards a draft, new DC and two aging vet signings.

If that was for sure to happen. I would be cheering hard for the Lions. But I doubt very much the status quo lovers in GB will get rid of Capers.

well, right away you can tell they don't have confidence in pass pro or the ability of Hundley to throw downfield at all. Plus, not all that great running on the first drive. Bad omen.
