I think what he ment is, if a defensive player beats and offensive lineman, then the lineman has the right to hold him

So if a defensive player rips him a new one, the OL should be able to hold?

Those balls were catchable...on a nice balmy fall afternoon or today in a dome. Not in below freezing conditions. Have to adjust, and he did not.
